  • What is The Living Nation Institute?

The Living Nation Institute (TLNI) is a research and education platform advancing cultural sovereignty, wellness traditions, and ancestral knowledge systems particularly for communities shaped by colonization, displacement, and structural marginalization. We exist to restore the memory, methods, and agency of neo-colonized peoples, supporting self-determined growth through education, embodiment, and community-led inquiry.

  • What types of courses and learning opportunities will be available?

TLNI offers a curated mix of: • Cultural wellness and plant-based performance sciences • Decolonial research methodologies • Indigenous governance and sovereignty frameworks • Community-led curriculum design • Ancestral wisdom in public health, food systems, and education • Athletic training rooted in traditional movement practices All offerings honor intergenerational knowledge, rhythm-based learning, and cultural specificity.

  • When will new courses and research tracks be released?

Our offerings emerge in seasonal cycles, in harmony with ancestral calendars, ceremonial timing, and community readiness. Join our mailing list for updates, early access, and invitation-only research cohorts.

  • Who is TLNI for?

  • How is learning structured?

Each course or program is: • Modular and self-paced • Rooted in story, spirit, and study • Available in written, audio, visual, and ceremonial formats • Often and intentionally, co-facilitated by community knowledge holders and elders

  • Why is the growth of TLNI intentionally slow?

Speed is a colonized value. TLNI moves at the pace of respect, restoration, and relational accountability. We honor timing that aligns with spirit, earth, and readiness not deadlines.

  • How can I support TLNI?

    • Enroll or recommend our courses • Share our mission with aligned networks • Offer financial or in kind contributions • Invite TLNI to consult, co-develop, or review your projects or platforms • Practice reciprocity by living the teachings we co-create
